Who we are
Complete G12 is a study app for Myanmar Grade 12 (Matriculation) students. It is run by an individual educator and can be reached at htetmyataung007s@gmail.com. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the name and
profile picture on your Google account. We request only the basic
emailandprofilescopes. We never ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service. - Your learning activity. The display name you choose, your XP, streak, daily goal, which lessons and subtopics you have finished, and your answer accuracy.
- Reading Checker use. The number of minutes of speech recognition you have used, so we can apply credit limits.
- Live Quiz use. Your display name, answers, score and join time are stored for the live session so the host can run the quiz and show its leaderboard.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we show no advertising.
- We do not store recordings of your voice. Audio from the Reading Checker is streamed for recognition and discarded immediately; only the resulting text is used, and only in your browser.
- We do not ask for your address or payment card details. Payments are made directly through KBZPay; we store the sender name and transaction ID you submit for manual verification.
Why we need it
Your email identifies your account so your progress follows you between your phone and your computer. Your learning activity is what the app is for — it powers your progress screens, the leaderboard, and your achievements. Reading Checker minutes are counted so paid credits are applied fairly.
Where it is stored
Authentication is provided by Firebase Authentication, and account, progress and live-quiz data is stored in Cloud Firestore. Browsers cannot access Firestore directly; authenticated requests are checked and processed by our server on Railway. Speech recognition is performed by Deepgram for signed-in Recall sessions, with your browser recognizer as a fallback. AI explanations are generated by OpenAI; the question text is sent, but never your name or email. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Who can see what
Other students can see only your display name, level and XP, and only on the leaderboard. Teachers can see the requests you post publicly. Your contact details are shared with a teacher only after you accept that teacher's proposal — never before.
Your rights
- See your data — Settings → Export data (JSON).
- Correct it — edit your name and goal in Settings.
- Delete it — Settings → Reset this device removes the local copy. To delete your cloud account and associated data entirely, email us and we will do it within 30 days.
- Withdraw Google access — you can revoke this app at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile and progress are removed. Backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days before they roll over.
Children
The app is intended for Grade 12 students, who are typically 16 or older. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please ask a parent or guardian before creating an account. If we learn we have collected data from a younger child without consent, we will delete it.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us. API keys for paid services are held on the server and are never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and mention it in the app.
